1. Who We Are and Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bookify Events Inc., a Delaware corporation, doing business as Cenvi ("Bookify Events Inc.," "Cenvi," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you interact with us. This Privacy Policy is effective as of the Last Updated date shown above and supersedes all prior versions. Cenvi operates an online and mobile marketplace that helps people plan events by connecting individuals and organizations who want to book event related services ("Customers") with independent venues, vendors, and service providers ("Vendors"). We provide the technology platform, tools, and payment facilitation that allow Customers and Vendors to discover one another, communicate, and enter into bookings, as described in our Terms of Service.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that we collect through our website, our mobile application, and any other online products and services that reference this Privacy Policy (together, the "Services"), as well as when you otherwise communicate with us in connection with the Services. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you must not use the Services. Your continued use of the Services following any changes to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such changes.

Vendors are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Cenvi, and they may separately collect and use personal information in connection with their own operations. Their activities are governed by their own privacy policies. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third party websites, applications, services, or businesses that are not under our control, even if you access them through the Services.

The Services are intended for use by individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of eighteen (18). If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, you are not permitted to use the Services. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under eighteen (18) has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately using the contact information in Section 13, and we will take steps to delete such information.

Bookify Events Inc. is a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business at:

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information in several ways. The information we collect depends on how you use the Services, whether you are a Customer or a Vendor, and how you choose to interact with us.

Information You Provide: When you create an account, request a booking, set up a Vendor profile, communicate through the Services, or contact us for support, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, city or region, and a password or other login credentials. You may also provide details about your event, including the event type, date, time, location, expected guest count, budget, style and preferences, notes or special instructions, and any other information you decide to include in your request or booking.

If you are a Vendor, you may provide additional information about yourself and your business. This may include a business name, business address, contact details, service categories, descriptions of your services, pricing ranges, minimums or packages, availability, service radius, photos or videos, and branding elements such as logos and profile images. In some situations we may request tax identification numbers (such as Social Security Numbers or Employer Identification Numbers), business registration information, bank account details, or other payout related information so that we can facilitate payments and comply with legal and reporting obligations, including IRS Form 1099 reporting requirements. This information is considered sensitive and is subject to enhanced security measures and restricted access controls.

When you create an account with the Services, we collect account-related information necessary to establish and manage your account. This includes your name, email address, username, password (stored in encrypted form), phone number, and basic profile information you choose to provide. You may also provide optional profile details such as a profile photo, biographical information, and communication preferences.

When you communicate with us or with other users through the Services, we collect the content of those communications. This may include messages, chats, support requests, emails, reviews, and any attachments you choose to send, such as photos, videos, or documents related to your event or services. If you respond to surveys, participate in promotions, join waitlists, or sign up for newsletters or marketing communications, we collect the information you provide in those contexts as well as your communication preferences.

Information Collected Automatically: We also collect certain information automatically when you use the Services. This includes technical information about the device and network you use to access the Services, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device type, operating system and version, browser type and settings, mobile device identifiers, and application version. We collect information about how you use the Services, such as the pages, screens, and features you visit, searches you perform, Vendors or services you view, bookings you create or modify, your clicks and navigation patterns, and the dates and times of your visits.

We may derive a general location from your IP address, such as the city or region from which you are accessing the Services. If you grant the mobile application permission to access your device location, we may collect precise geolocation information (which may include GPS coordinates, Wi-Fi access points, and cell tower information) or approximate location information to help show you Vendors that are relevant to your area and to improve the experience. You can disable this permission in your device settings, although some location based features may not function correctly if you do so.

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, software development kits (SDKs), and similar technologies to collect and store some of this automatic information. These technologies help us recognize your browser or device, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, understand how the Services are used, and measure the effectiveness of our communications and features.

Information from Third Parties: In addition, we may receive information about you from third parties. Vendors and Customers may provide us with information about their interactions with you through the Services, such as booking history, cancellations, disputes, reviews, and feedback. Payment processors and financial partners may provide us with limited information related to payments and payouts, such as the status of a transaction, the payment method type, the last four digits of a card, billing ZIP code, and signals that help us detect fraud or unusual activity. If you choose to sign in or connect through a third party login provider, such as Google or Apple, that provider may share information with us according to your settings with them, which may include your name, email address, profile picture, and a unique identifier associated with your account on their service.

We may also receive aggregated or inferred information from analytics, marketing, and advertising partners. For example, we may receive data indicating how users found our Services, which marketing campaigns were effective, and general interest segments or broad demographic groupings based on browsing and app usage patterns. When we combine information from different sources, we treat the combined information as personal information and process it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless you choose to provide it to us, and we ask that you avoid sharing such information in free text fields unless it is strictly necessary.

Payment card data is handled by our third party payment processors, which are PCI-DSS compliant. When you enter payment details in the Services, they are transmitted directly to those processors using secure encryption. We do not store complete payment card numbers on our own systems, though we may retain the last four digits, card type, and expiration date for reference purposes.

We provide regular training to all employees and contractors who handle personal information to ensure they understand their privacy obligations and follow appropriate data protection practices.

3. How We Use Information

We use the personal information we collect for a number of purposes that are necessary to operate the Services, meet our contractual obligations, improve and develop our platform, and comply with legal requirements.

To Provide and Operate the Services: This includes creating and managing user accounts, enabling Customers to discover, compare, and book Vendors, allowing Vendors to receive and manage leads and bookings, facilitating communication between Customers and Vendors, processing payments from Customers and payouts to Vendors, and preventing, detecting, and investigating fraud, security incidents, and other prohibited or illegal activities. We use your information to verify your account, authenticate your access, maintain your profile, and provide you with the features and functionality of the Services.

To Personalize and Improve the Experience: Based on your activity, preferences, location, and other information we collect, we may suggest Vendors, services, or content that may be relevant to you. For example, we may highlight certain vendors that match your event details or show you recommendations based on past bookings or saved favorites. We may pre fill forms or remember your preferences to make it easier for you to use the Services in the future.

To Communicate with You: This includes sending transactional messages, such as confirmations, reminders, status updates, receipts, and notifications related to bookings, account changes, and support requests. We may contact you to respond to your questions, resolve issues, or provide assistance. Where permitted by law and consistent with your preferences, we may send you marketing communications about new features, promotions, offers, and updates that may be of interest to you. For text message marketing, we will obtain your prior express written consent before sending such messages, as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). You will not be required to consent to receive marketing communications as a condition of using the Services, purchasing any goods or services, or entering into any agreement with us. You can opt out of marketing communications as described in Section 8, but we may still send you messages that are necessary for the use of the Services.

To Maintain Security and Integrity: We monitor use of the Services, including through automated means and manual review, to detect and help prevent fraud, spam, abuse, unauthorized access, and other harmful or illegal activity. We use the information we collect to protect the rights, property, and safety of Cenvi, our users, Vendors, and the public. This may include using information to investigate and respond to complaints or disputes, enforce our Terms of Service and other policies, and manage risk.

In addition to the uses described above, we may access your account and content when you request technical support or assistance with the Services. Upon your request or with your consent, Cenvi and its authorized support personnel may access your account information and content solely to provide setup assistance, configuration support, and troubleshooting services. We maintain detailed audit logs of all such access activities and limit the use of your information strictly to providing the requested support services or as otherwise required by applicable law. You may withdraw this authorization and revoke support access at any time by contacting us through the methods described in Section 13.

For Analytics, Research, and Product Development: We analyze usage patterns, technical performance, and feedback to understand how the Services are used and where improvements are needed. Aggregated and de identified information may be used to evaluate features, test new products or enhancements, and support business and product decisions.

For Business Operations and Legal Compliance: This includes keeping appropriate business records, performing accounting and billing, managing relationships with Vendors and partners, complying with tax obligations and other legal requirements, and responding to lawful requests, court orders, or regulatory inquiries. When we are required by law, we may use and retain certain information for specified periods or in specified ways.

We conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) before engaging in processing activities that present heightened risks to consumer privacy or data rights, including but not limited to: processing sensitive personal information, selling personal information, using personal information for targeted advertising, profiling that may have legal or similarly significant effects, processing that involves new technologies or innovative uses of personal information, and large-scale processing of personal information. The results of these assessments inform our data protection practices and risk mitigation strategies.

We process personal information for these purposes based on the following legal bases: (i) performance of our contract with you; (ii) our legitimate business interests, provided your rights do not override those interests; (iii) your consent, where required by law; (iv) compliance with legal obligations; or (v) protection of vital interests where applicable.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information when it is necessary to provide the Services, when you choose to share it, when we work with service providers and partners who assist us, and when we are required or permitted to do so by law.

Between Customers and Vendors: To operate the marketplace, we share information between Customers and Vendors. When a Customer submits a request or booking, we disclose relevant information to the Vendor or Vendors who need it to respond and provide services. This typically includes the Customer's name, contact information (email and/or phone number), event details, approximate location, date and time, guest count, preferences, and any notes or special instructions the Customer chooses to provide. If a booking is confirmed, the Vendor may also see additional information needed to perform the services, such as more precise location details or access instructions that the Customer provides.

On the Vendor side, we display Vendor information to Customers and to visitors of the Services. This may include a Vendor's business name, description, service categories, general location or service area, pricing ranges, photos and videos of services or events, availability, reviews, and ratings. Vendors control much of the content of their profiles and are responsible for the information they choose to share. Content that you post publicly, such as reviews or gallery photos, may be visible to other users and, in some cases, may be indexed by search engines.

With Service Providers: We share information with third party service providers that help us operate and support the Services. These include providers that offer cloud hosting and storage, email and SMS delivery, payment processing and financial services, customer support platforms, analytics and performance monitoring, security and fraud prevention tools, marketing and advertising support, and other technical and business services. These companies are permitted to access and use personal information only to perform services on our behalf and are contractually required to protect that information consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. We conduct appropriate due diligence when selecting service providers and maintain written agreements with them that include data protection obligations.

Vendors may choose to connect their Cenvi account with other systems or tools that they use, such as scheduling, messaging, or customer relationship management platforms. When a Vendor uses such integrations, the Vendor may export information about Customers and bookings from the Services into those third party tools. Cenvi does not control the data practices of those external services, and their use of personal information is governed by their own privacy policies.

For Legal Compliance and Protection: We may share information when we believe it is necessary to comply with applicable laws or legal processes, or to protect Cenvi, our users, Vendors, or others. For example, we may disclose information in response to a subpoena, court order, search warrant, or valid government request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is appropriate to investigate or prevent suspected fraud, illegal activity, or threats to the safety of any person. Where it is appropriate and legally permissible, we will attempt to provide advance notice to affected users before we disclose information in response to such requests, unless we are prohibited from doing so by law or court order, or if providing notice would be counterproductive or futile.

In Connection with Business Transactions: We may share information in connection with a business transaction. If we are involved in or are considering a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, financing, or similar transaction, personal information may be disclosed to the relevant parties as part of due diligence or the transaction itself, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections. If ownership of our business changes, the new owner may continue to use personal information as described in this Privacy Policy, or as otherwise notified to you at the time of the change, consistent with applicable law.

At Your Direction or With Your Consent: We may also share information at your direction or with your consent. For example, if you choose to participate in a co branded promotion, connect a third party account, or use a feature that explicitly involves sharing information with another party, we will share your information as described at the time you provide consent.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration in the traditional sense. However, some of our use of cookies and similar technologies with analytics and advertising partners may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar laws. Where those laws apply, we honor applicable opt-out rights as described in Section 8.

We recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals and other universal opt-out mechanisms as valid requests to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising purposes. When we receive such signals from your browser or device, we will process them as an opt-out request consistent with applicable law.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Services, to understand how the Services are used, and, in some cases, to support our marketing activities.

A cookie is a small text file that a website or app stores on your device when you visit or use it. Cookies and related technologies allow us to recognize your browser or device, remember your preferences and settings, keep you signed in, and provide certain features. They also help us understand which pages and features are popular, how users navigate the Services, and how the Services perform.

Some cookies are "session" cookies that are deleted when you close your browser or app. Others are "persistent" cookies that remain on your device for a period of time or until you delete them. We may also use local storage, pixels, and similar tools that function in a comparable way.

We use these technologies for several purposes. We use them to provide core functionality, such as the ability to log in and stay logged in, maintain your session, and remember selections and preferences. We use them for analytics, which helps us understand how users interact with the Services and where improvements are needed. We may also use them in connection with email or in-app messages, for example to determine whether you opened a communication or clicked on a link.

In some cases we work with analytics and advertising partners who place cookies or similar technologies on your browser or device. These partners help us measure traffic and usage, understand how people discover the Services, and serve or measure advertisements. They may collect information about your use of the Services and other sites and apps over time, in order to infer your interests and provide you with more relevant advertising.

Analytics providers we currently use: We use PostHog (operated by PostHog Inc., with data processed in the United States) to understand product usage and improve features. PostHog receives event data such as the pages you visit, actions you take in the Services, your device and browser type, and a pseudonymous identifier; it does not receive your email address or other directly identifying information from our integration. We use Google Analytics (operated by Google LLC) to measure aggregate traffic patterns and the effectiveness of our marketing pages. Google Analytics may set cookies and receive information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, the pages you visit, and referring URLs. You can learn more about Google Analytics and opt out using Google's tools, including the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We may add or change analytics providers from time to time and will update this policy accordingly.

You can control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings and, on some devices, through your operating system settings. You may be able to set your browser to block or delete cookies. If you choose to block or delete cookies, some features of the Services may not work properly. You can also use industry tools to learn more about interest based advertising and to opt out of certain tracking done by participating companies.

Some browsers allow you to send a "Do Not Track" signal. The Services do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals. However, you can use the other choices described in this section and in Section 8 to manage certain tracking and advertising preferences.

6. How We Protect Information

We take the security of personal information seriously and use a combination of technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to help protect information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Examples of measures we may use include encryption in transit where appropriate, access controls that limit who within our organization can access personal information, authentication mechanisms to protect accounts, logging and monitoring of our systems, and regular review of our security practices. We also require our employees and contractors to follow policies and training designed to protect personal information and maintain confidentiality.

Despite our efforts, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. There is always some risk that information could be accessed or used in a manner that is not authorized. You can help protect yourself by using a strong and unique password for your account, not sharing your login credentials with others, and logging out of your account when using a shared device. If you believe your account or information has been compromised, you should contact us immediately using the information in Section 13.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as it is reasonably needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, managing our business, and complying with legal obligations. We follow data minimization principles by collecting only the personal information that is adequate, relevant, and reasonably necessary for the specific purposes for which it is processed.

The length of time we keep information can vary depending on the type of data and the context in which it was collected. For example, we may retain account information for as long as you have an active account, and for a period afterward where we have a legitimate need to do so, such as to maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with legal requirements. We may retain booking records and communications related to transactions for periods required by tax, accounting, and other laws.

When we no longer need personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, we will delete it or take steps to anonymize it, subject to technical limitations and our backup and archival policies. We may retain limited information in backup or archival copies for a period of time after it has been removed from active systems, in order to ensure the integrity of our systems and to meet legal or regulatory requirements.

Content that you have made public through the Services, such as reviews, may remain visible to others even after your account is closed, unless we determine in our discretion that removal is appropriate or we are required to remove it by law.

In the event of a data breach or security incident that affects your personal information, we will take prompt action to investigate and contain the incident. We will notify affected individuals and relevant regulatory authorities as required by applicable law, typically within the timeframes specified by such laws. Our notification will include information about the nature of the breach, the types of personal information involved, the measures we have taken or will take to address the breach and mitigate harm, and steps you can take to protect yourself. We will also provide contact information so that you can obtain further information and assistance. We maintain an incident response plan to ensure that we can respond quickly and effectively to security incidents, and we will work to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You have choices regarding how we use your information and, in some cases, rights under applicable law to access, correct, or delete information.

You can access and update certain account information by logging into your account and visiting your settings. You are responsible for keeping your information accurate and up to date. If you are unable to update information through your account, you may contact us using the details in Section 13 and we will try to assist you.

If you wish to close your account, you may be able to do so through your account settings or by contacting us. When you close your account, we will deactivate it and, where appropriate, limit access to your information, subject to the retention practices described in Section 7.

You can choose how you receive marketing communications from us. You may opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in those emails. You may opt out of marketing SMS messages by following the instructions in the message, for example by replying "STOP." Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you transactional or service related messages, such as booking confirmations, account notices, or information about changes to our terms and policies.

Mobile Messaging (SMS) Program

Cenvi operates an SMS messaging program that we use to deliver account-related, transactional, event, and (with your separate consent) promotional text messages. When you provide your mobile number to us through one of our forms (account signup, vendor profile, event guest list, ticket registration, RSVP, or other places where a phone field is presented), you agree to receive SMS from Cenvi at that number for purposes consistent with the context in which you provided it. We use Twilio as our SMS delivery provider.

Categories of messages we send: (1) account and authentication messages such as one-time verification codes; (2) transactional booking and payment notifications to vendors and planners (for example, payment receipts, booking change approvals or rejections); (3) event invitation and RSVP messages sent on behalf of an event host who has added your number to their guest list; (4) registration and ticket confirmations and event-day updates for tickets you purchased; (5) optional promotional and marketing messages from Cenvi and the vendors you have engaged with, but only where you have separately opted in. Message frequency varies and depends on the categories of messages you receive and your activity on Cenvi.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Cenvi does not charge you to receive messages.

Help and opt-out: Reply HELP to any Cenvi SMS for support information, or contact us at support@cenvi.events. Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any Cenvi SMS to opt out of all future Cenvi SMS across every Cenvi sender. Reply START or UNSTOP at any time to resubscribe.

We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in status, and SMS consent are not sold, rented, transferred, or shared with any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Cenvi SMS messages are recurring; message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. We share mobile information only with subprocessors (such as Twilio) strictly to operate the Cenvi SMS messaging program and to comply with applicable law, and those subprocessors are contractually prohibited from using your mobile information for their own marketing.

We obtain your consent to send marketing SMS, where required, through an explicit, separate checkbox at the point of collection. You will not be required to consent to receive marketing SMS as a condition of using the Services, purchasing tickets, completing a booking, or entering into any agreement with us. Transactional messages (such as one-time verification codes and payment or booking notifications) are sent based on the action you took on the platform and continue regardless of marketing opt-in, unless you reply STOP.

If you change or relinquish your mobile number, please update your account or contact us so we can keep our records accurate. You are responsible for notifying Cenvi if you no longer have access to a number on which you previously opted in.

You can manage cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 5. If you disable or reject some cookies, the Services may not function fully.

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to you, you may have additional rights. These may include the right to request that we confirm whether we process personal information about you, the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, the right to request that we correct inaccurate information, the right to request that we delete personal information, and the right to receive a copy of certain information in a portable format. In some states, you may also have the right to opt out of certain uses and disclosures of personal information, such as uses that are considered "sales" or "sharing" for targeted advertising under state law.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights under applicable law. This means that we will not deny you Services, charge you different prices or rates, provide a different level or quality of Services, or suggest that you may receive a different price or rate or a different level or quality of Services, because you exercised a privacy right. We may, however, offer different prices, rates, or levels of service that are reasonably related to the value of your personal information, as permitted by law.

If you choose to use an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf, we may require the agent to provide proof that you gave them signed permission to act on your behalf. We may also require you to verify your identity directly with us or to confirm that you authorized the agent to submit the request. Authorized agents can submit requests using the same contact methods described in this Privacy Policy and should clearly indicate that they are acting in a representative capacity.

If we deny your privacy request in whole or in part, you may, where required by applicable law, have the right to appeal our decision. To appeal, you may reply directly to our response or email us with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line and an explanation of why you believe our decision was incorrect. We will review your appeal and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If your appeal is denied, we will provide you with an explanation, and where applicable you may have the right to contact your state attorney general or other regulator to lodge a complaint.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some of the data sharing that occurs through cookies and advertising tools may be treated as a sale or sharing under certain state laws. Where those laws apply, we will honor valid opt out preferences that you communicate to us through available mechanisms, such as links we provide in the Services or recognized browser signals, to the extent required by those laws.

To exercise privacy rights that may be available to you, you can contact us as described in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests, which may involve asking you to log into your account or provide information that we can match with our records. In some cases, we may deny or limit a request where allowed or required by law, for example if we cannot verify your identity, if complying would adversely affect the rights or freedoms of others, or if we need to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations or establish or defend legal claims. If we deny your request in whole or in part, we will explain our reasons, subject to legal restrictions. In some jurisdictions you may have the right to appeal our decision, and we will inform you how to do so if that right applies.

9. Children

The Services are designed for adults and are not intended for use by children under the age of eighteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under eighteen years old. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of thirteen, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information as required by applicable law.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information to us without your consent, you should contact us using the information in Section 13 so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. International Users

The Services are operated from the United States, and our servers and many of our service providers are located in the United States and other countries. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where the data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to the United States and to other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate, and to the processing of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. We will take steps to ensure that personal information receives an appropriate level of protection in the jurisdictions where it is processed, consistent with this Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy and post the updated policy on our Services at https://cenvi.events/privacy.

If we make changes that significantly affect your rights or how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice as required by law. This may include sending you an email, posting a notice within the Services, or requesting your consent where required.

Your continued use of the Services after a revised Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you accept the updated policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Services and, if applicable, close your account.

12. Additional Information for California Residents and Other U.S. State Residents

This section provides additional information for residents of California and, where applicable, residents of other U.S. states with similar privacy laws. If there is any conflict between this section and the rest of this Privacy Policy, this section will control for residents of those jurisdictions to the extent of the conflict.

In the twelve months preceding the Last Updated date of this Privacy Policy, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2. These categories correspond to the following statutory categories of personal information under California law: identifiers such as real name, email address, account identifiers, and device identifiers; commercial information such as booking and transaction records; internet or other electronic network activity information such as logs, usage data, and interactions with the Services; geolocation data such as approximate location derived from your IP address and, where enabled, more precise location from your device; audio or electronic information such as customer support communications and other messages you send through the Services; professional or employment related information and business information for Vendors; and inferences drawn from any of the above to help personalize and improve the Services. We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers from Customers. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as precise geolocation data, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, genetic data, biometric data for identification purposes, health information, or information about sex life or sexual orientation) unless you voluntarily choose to provide it, and when we do collect such information, we process it only for the specific purposes for which it was provided and with appropriate safeguards.

As described in Sections 2 and 3, we collect these categories of personal information from you directly when you provide information to us; automatically when you use the Services and from your browser, device, and interactions; from Vendors and other users in connection with bookings, communications, reviews, and feedback; from payment processors and financial partners in connection with payments and payouts; from third party login providers if you choose to sign in or connect through them; and from analytics, marketing, and advertising partners that help us understand how users find and use the Services.

We use these categories of personal information for the business and commercial purposes described in Section 3. This includes providing and operating the Services; creating and managing accounts; facilitating discovery of Vendors and bookings; processing payments and payouts; communicating with you; personalizing and improving the Services; maintaining security and preventing fraud and abuse; conducting analytics and product development; managing our business operations; and complying with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations. We disclose these categories of information for these purposes to the categories of third parties described in Section 4, including Vendors and Customers involved in bookings, service providers who perform services on our behalf, analytics and security partners, payment processors and financial institutions, affiliates and professional advisors, and governmental or regulatory authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money. However, we may allow certain third party analytics and advertising partners to collect identifiers, internet or electronic network activity information, and inferences about you over time across our Services and other sites and apps in order to provide us with analytics, to improve the Services, and to help us deliver and measure advertising. In some states, including California, this type of activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or the processing of personal information for targeted advertising. Where these laws apply, you have the right to opt out of our sale or sharing of personal information and our use of personal information for targeted advertising. You can exercise this right by using any "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" or similar link or setting that we make available in the Services, by adjusting your cookie and tracking preferences where offered, or by using a browser or device that sends a recognized opt out signal such as Global Privacy Control. When we receive a valid opt out request, we will honor it as required by applicable law.

For each category of personal information described above, we retain the information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, securing and maintaining our systems, and complying with legal and regulatory obligations. The specific retention period for a given category of information can vary based on factors such as the nature of the data, the context in which it was collected, our legal obligations, and our legitimate business needs. For example, we generally retain account identifiers and booking records for as long as you have an account and for a period afterward as required for business, tax, and legal purposes. When we no longer need personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, we will delete it or take reasonable steps to de identify or anonymize it, subject to technical limitations and our backup and archival practices as described in Section 7.

Subject to the limitations and exceptions in applicable law, residents of California and certain other U.S. states have the right to request that we confirm whether we process personal information about them, to access and receive a copy of personal information we hold about them, to request that we delete personal information, and to request that we correct inaccurate personal information. They may also have the right to obtain a copy of certain personal information in a portable and, where technically feasible, readily usable format, and the right to opt out of our sale or sharing of personal information or our use of personal information for targeted advertising as described above. We describe how to exercise these rights in Section 8.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give rise to a right to limit such use or disclosure under California law. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under the age of sixteen.

California residents and residents of certain other states may have the right to lodge a complaint with their state attorney general, the California Privacy Protection Agency, or other supervisory authority if they have concerns about our handling of their personal information. We encourage you to contact us first using the information in Section 13 so that we can try to resolve your concerns directly.
